01–04 — Vehicle import from the EU

Import packages

You found a vehicle abroad in the EU. We bring it to Austria — in four levels, depending on how much you want to handle yourself.

Basis package

  • Registration of your vehicle in Austria
  • Personal handover of all documents and licence plates – directly at your location, in sync with the vehicle delivery

Relocation package

Moving to Austria and bringing your own car? So you can focus on your new home, job and settling in, we take over all the paperwork around your vehicle.

Austria package

You found your car in Austria — but it is 300 km away? We collect it for you.

We deliver your chosen vehicle to your door. On request we arrange a vehicle inspection before the purchase, covering bodywork and mechanics.

Frequently asked questions about our packages

What does the Autohaus Zwer import service cost?

The service fee is € 899 for the Basis package, € 1,290 for the Plus package and € 1,990 for the Sorglos package. For vehicles from € 120,000 we offer the Luxus package at € 5,990. Vehicle price, NoVA and transport are shown separately and upfront.

What is included in the Basis package?

The Basis package covers NoVA handling with the tax office, procurement of all import documents, organisation of insured transport and preparation for registration in Austria.

How do the Plus and Sorglos packages differ?

The Plus package adds dealer contact, support throughout the purchase contract process, assessment of price and offer, and a vehicle history check. The Sorglos package additionally includes a technical inspection on site at the dealer, organisation of car insurance, a personal contact person and prioritised handling of your order.

I am moving to Austria — what do I need for my own car?

That is what the relocation package is for. We handle NoVA with the tax office, procure the required documents, take care of the type certificate and prepare the registration in Austria. We quote the price on request because the effort varies by vehicle and country of origin.

Do you also handle cars located within Austria?

Yes. If your car is already in Austria but too far away to inspect, the Austria package at € 399 covers dealer contact, support with the purchase contract and insured transport to your address.
