Import and Lease Your Car – Now with Autohaus Zwer and s Leasing
Have you found your dream car in Germany or another EU country and would like to finance it through convenient monthly payments? Autohaus Zwer now offers leasing for eligible vehicles. With s Leasing (Erste Bank und Sparkassen Leasing GmbH), we have a strong leasing partner by our side.
We have also enhanced our NoVA calculator: alongside the estimated import costs, you can now see an indicative monthly lease payment for eligible vehicles. From your first cost estimate and leasing enquiry to the handover of your car, ready for registration in Austria, we guide you personally through every step.
Calculate the Monthly Lease Payment for Your Dream Car
Simply paste the link to your chosen vehicle into our calculator. Based on the available vehicle details, it automatically checks whether the car may be eligible for a leasing application. If it is, you can customise your calculation:
Lease term: Choose how long you would like to lease the vehicle from the available options.
Down payment: Decide how much you would like to contribute upfront. A higher down payment reduces the monthly payment, all other terms being equal.
Final payment or estimated residual value: Adjust the relevant value in the calculator and see how it affects your monthly payment.
This allows you to compare different options directly and assess which monthly payment fits your budget.
One Leasing Package – The Entire Import Included
Your down payment, monthly lease payments and the final payment agreed in your contract cover both your dream car and the entire import process under the agreed complete package.
The following services are already included in the leasing calculation:
Insured transport of your vehicle to Austria
Austria’s standard consumption tax (NoVA), including its processing
The Austrian vehicle approval document (Typenschein) or an extract from the Austrian vehicle approval database
All administrative formalities required for the import
Organisation and handling by Autohaus Zwer
This means you do not have to settle separate invoices for transport, NoVA or import services, or coordinate with the transport company and the relevant authorities. We manage the entire process for you.
You provide the necessary paperwork, sign the required documents and make the agreed payments. We take care of everything else relating to the import – right through to handing over your dream car, ready for registration in Austria.
What Are the Benefits of Leasing?
More financial flexibility
You do not have to pay the entire vehicle price upfront from your own funds. This can help you keep financial reserves available for other purchases, everyday expenses or unexpected costs.
Financing tailored to your preferences
Within the available options, you can adjust the lease term, down payment and residual value to suit your needs. You choose the combination you would like to enquire about.
Easier monthly budgeting
The quoted monthly lease payment helps you plan your budget. With an agreed fixed interest rate, the payment remains the same throughout the agreed term; with a variable interest rate, it may change. Your contract documents specify which option applies to your offer.
Import and leasing coordinated together
You can take advantage of the wider choice of vehicles in other EU countries and enquire about financing for an eligible car at the same time. Autohaus Zwer coordinates the next steps with you, the dealer and the leasing partner, saving you time and effort.
Understanding Residual Value and Monthly Payments
The residual value is the agreed value of the vehicle at the end of the lease. All other terms being equal, a higher residual value results in a lower monthly payment. However, it should realistically reflect the vehicle, the lease term and the expected mileage.
When making your decision, remember that a low monthly payment alone tells you little about the total cost. Compare the down payment, interest, fees and end-of-contract arrangements as well. You should also allow for insurance, maintenance and running costs in your budget unless these are expressly included.
The leasing company remains the owner of the vehicle throughout the lease term. Paying the residual value does not automatically transfer ownership to you. Your options at the end of the lease depend on your specific contract. If you have agreed to bear the residual value risk, an additional payment may be due if the proceeds from the vehicle’s sale fall short of the agreed residual value.
How to Arrange Your Lease
Calculate the costs for your chosen car: Paste the vehicle listing link into our NoVA calculator to view the estimated import costs and leasing option.
Customise your lease: Adjust the term, down payment and proposed residual value.
Send your enquiry: Submit your preferred option, and we will discuss the next steps with you.
Prepare the paperwork: We explain which personal and vehicle documents are required and help you submit them to the leasing partner.
Review the offer and finalise the agreement: Once your application has been approved by s Leasing, you receive the contract documents, including all terms and details, directly from the leasing company.
We then coordinate with the dealer and arrange insured transport to Austria, NoVA processing, the Austrian vehicle approval document or database extract, and the necessary administrative formalities – right through to handover, ready for registration. These import services are already included in the agreed leasing package.
